The Glass Expedition

The Glass Expedition is a slower, atmospheric adventure where you guide a lone traveler across a desert made of broken glass and old machines. You walk, look around, solve environmental puzzles, and piece together what happened here. It's light on action and heavy on mood.

The puzzles are built into the world rather than bolted on, so figuring out how to cross a ravine feels like part of the journey. Nothing is too obscure if you pay attention, and the game trusts you to notice things without flashing a marker on screen.

I played it in one long sitting with headphones on and it just worked. If you want something calm and a little melancholy, this is an easy recommendation.
